We first came here last year -2024. Myself and two daughters then 14 and 16 did a "discover scuba " dive with Lydia. It was brilliant and before even drying out we'd decided to come back this year and do our open water PADI. Booking from the UK was seamless and Altan was always prompt to reply and answer any questions by WhatsApp. We arrived this year having completed the online section of the PADI course beforehand. Emre and Murat were our instructors. The tuition was first class, they were patient and ensured that even those in the group (six in total) who struggled with certain skills elements were not rushed. Over the three days we completed 5 dives. All the staff are friendly and speak a multitude of languages. The kit and facilities are great. Despite being total newbies to Scuba we always felt safe and welcome. I'm 51 and wish I'd done this sooner , my girls now have the bug and are already looking at advancing their scuba qualifications, as am I. If you have ever fancied giving it a go the this is the place !

I had originally planned to only do a recreational dive with the centre, but was so impressed by the organisation and setup of the trip that I immediately signed up for the Rescue Course as well. It was taught by Eylül, who was one of the most patient and knowledgeable instructors I have ever had, perfectly embodying the relaxed attitude and exceptional competence of the whole team. I cannot recommend Kalamar Dive Centre highly enough. Thanks again to everyone!

Daughter and me did the ‘Discovery Scuba’ session. I was so impressed with the set up and organisation of the whole event. Floss was our tutor who made us feel at ease the moment we turned up. The rest of the team also chip in with making sure we were all set up with the correct kit. My 14 year old and me absolutely loved it. Great opportunity to lose a few hours and really benefit from something new. The underwater fish feeding was fun too!! Thanks again Altan, Floss and the rest of the crew!! Gary and Daisy

Myself, wife and two boys (12 & 14) completed a Padi Open water course with Emre and Altan. Booked before we arrived and completed the online course before the practical stuff. Really friendly and knowledgable and made the course fun. A big shout out for Altan who took the extra time to help my younger son get through course. Thank you. Can't wait to come back next year

A really great dive centre, very friendly and relaxed. I had 4 really nice dives here, it was my first time diving alone and I felt really comfortable and well looked after. The dive sites were great, plenty to see and very clean with no other boats in sight. Hot coffee and cake was served in the surface interval which was greatly appreciated. Plus we saw a turtle! 🤘👌 Have recommended to others and would definitely return, thanks guys!

Been coming here for 24 years, amazing group of guys and girls, different every year as train a lot of interns, Altan runs a professional center with top notch equipment.

My son and I did the PADI Open Water course here a couple of years ago and returned this year with friends who have been coming to this dive centre for many years. Altan and his team were excellent again. They were professional and at the same time, friendly, supportive, very knowledgable, they made us feel very much at ease. The dive centre is based at the Kalamar beach club, who's staff are attentive to your every need. If you’re considering learning to dive or want to dive whilst in Kalkan then look no further, we cannot recommend Kalkan Dive Center highly enough! I spent a week diving. The family-owned diving center has a very professional and nice team. I also did my Open Water certification with Emre, with whom I had nice contact. I would certainly dive again with them if I were to come back to Kalkan

Our teenage children did a try dive with Kalakan Dive Centre. It was a good 1st dive experience. The instructors were good and kept instructions simple, and we came away with a positive experience. Go to Kalamar Beach Club and you will find Kalakan Dive Club there. We spent the whole day at the club which included this try dive.

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone at Kalkan Diving Centre. I did my PADI course with them and a boat dive. Professional friendly and great fun to be around. This place became the highlight of my holiday and I got to see a Sea Turtle. I will miss you all!

My son did his PADI Open Water whilst I did a refersher dive, not having done any diving for over 25 years! The PADI course was excellent and my son's instructor very attentive in a small friendly group. It is an ideal place to learn with warm, clear waters and easy access to the water. Altan and his staff are super friendly and very professional in their approach. The equipment is also excellent. Having done a refresher and shore dive, I then went on a boat dive which was the highlight of my trip. Numbers are limited on the boat (there were only 8 of us plus 2 instructors) which makes it a very pleasant experience. The dive sites are within Kalamar bay so the boat journey was short. Visibility was excellent when we dived. We will definitely return for more diving next time we are in Kalkan! Thank you Altan.

Had a great time for my first time diving here! Our instructors Laura and Özlem were great, calm, patient and gave me the basics of what I would need to know for a great ocean dive.

A great place to do a PADI course during your holiday, Altan is very relaxed. The water is warm with great visibility even from shore dives.

Kalkan is the best place to learn how to scuba dive, beautiful warm sea, amazing coral and fish. Big shout out to Ooz who was a brilliant instructor, extremely patient and attentive - he was also so clearly passionate about diving. Thanks for the amazing experience, can’t wait to continue our scuba diving journey and hopefully one day return.

A must visit if you are in Kalkan and like the sea, I tried the Discover Scuba package for a very reasonable price and massively enjoyed it. Following this I opted to do the PADI Open Water course which included a further 6 dives over 3 days and certification. Oz, my instructor spoke great English and was very knowledgeable, we were taught in a small class where any questions were answered and clear demonstrations were given on how to perform the skills required for the course. The guys here clearly know their stuff and made me feel in good hands whilst learning new skills under water. Ill certainly be returning here to continue my SCUBA adventures.

Altan and his team were attentive, thorough and welcoming to our teenagers. Couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to diving. The PADI represented great value for money especially with the pounds sterling cash discount offered with a simple BACS transfer.

Professional dive operation with good equipment and plenty of friendly staff to support divers. Good briefing with diagrams / photos to ensure full understanding across diving experience. Dive boat well designed and crew new their stuff. Great value and would definitely dive with them again

Great friendly dive centre who are totally professional and safety conscious, providing good dive briefings. Plenty of staff on hand to support the dive and ensure everybody what ever their level enjoys themselves. Spoke to a few who had experienced their training and all were complimentary. My wife and I enjoyed two dives and wish we had a longer stay to dive again but alas the holiday was at an end. Highly recommend this dive outfit as definitely 5star and excellent value
